Successful brand representation is more than just adhering to a brand usage guideline.  Branding is a total image solution.  Each part of a design solution must be seen to present the brand on screen.  In addition to correct typeface usage, colour grouping, logo placement, and positional statements, it is necessary to carefully review all photographic and illustrated material to guarantee that it suits the image and perceived identity of the client.

Typically as designers, the brand is absorbed through exposure to the clients existing materials, the clients physical properties and statements from key decision makers (usually advertising or management staff).
